Terms of Service

Draft for prototype purposes · Last updated: [date to be set at launch]

This is placeholder legal copy for a product prototype. It is not legal advice and has not been reviewed by counsel. Replace every section with attorney-approved language before launch.

1. The service

Goose Cloud provides managed hosting for Goose, the open-source AI agent published by Block, Inc. under the Apache 2.0 license. We operate the runtime, storage, and access layer. Goose Cloud is an independent service and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Block, Inc.

2. Your account

3. Bring your own key

Goose Cloud does not resell model inference. You supply your own API credentials for third-party LLM providers. Those credentials are stored encrypted in your workspace's secret store, and model traffic flows directly between your workspace and the provider you configured. Your use of any third-party provider is governed by that provider's own terms.

4. Billing

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to use the service to violate any law, to attack or degrade other systems, to mine cryptocurrency, or to attempt to access other customers' workspaces or data. We may suspend workspaces that threaten the integrity of the platform.

6. Your content

Everything you create in your workspace — sessions, files, recipes, extension configuration — remains yours. We claim no ownership over it and access it only as needed to operate the service or as required by law.

7. Availability and changes

We aim for high availability but the service is provided "as is" without warranty of uninterrupted operation. We may update the hosted Goose version, features, or these terms; material changes will be announced to the email on your account.

8. Limitation of liability

[Standard limitation-of-liability language to be supplied by counsel.]

9. Contact

[Support email and legal entity details to be added at launch.]
